Geometry Dash

Geometry Dash is a game that is pretty similar to The Impossible Game. You basically are navigating a small square through square blocks and triangular spikes, but there are some more peculiar features. For one, there is a feature in which going inside a portal will place your square inside a rocket and you have to navigate away from the incoming spikes and walls. There also are portals which flip your screen upside down and you will have to play on a reversed screen. There are other features such as customizing your square with different colors and shapes and so on, but play the game yourself and see! ($1.99)

This game has 11 levels and is frequently updated where new levels are released. I used to play this game but am taking a temporary break on it. Just like The Impossible Game, Geometry Dash is played to the music and also has Practice Mode, which again takes out the epic music and replaces it with a rather dull and repetetive pattern.

To me, the touch response for this game is relatively slow. My square seems to jump a slight split second after I touch the screen which has been the reason for countless deaths on my behalf. This is why I find this game slightly frustrating. Maybe it's just my own device, but this is just a discomfort of my own.

Despite this drawback, I find the songs helplessly addicting and I love the fast pace of the game. The reason this game is fun for is because of the difficulty of the levels, especially the most recent one. The happiness of clearing one level is hard to explain and in order to feel that for yourself, I suggest that you play Geometry Dash yourself.
