Super Hexagon

Super Hexagon is the type of game that makes you want to destroy your phone (or your computer, depends on where it is installed). Being a player of this game myself, I have went through frustration in the first few minutes whenever I died within the span of seconds. The point of this game is to navigate your tiny triangle through the incoming waves of lines. Hit one and game over.

The first level is called Hexagon. It took me one full week to beat this level. I couldn't describe the feeling as the montotonic voice told me that I had completed the level. I felt like I was on top of the world. Afterwards, I moved on to beat Hexagoner, the next level in the game. Super Hexagon has six levels in total, three of them being the basic levels Hexagon, Hexagoner, and Hexagonest. The other three have the same name, except that they are in "hyper mode" a faster and more complicated version of the original. So far, I have only completed Hexagon and Hexagoner in normal mode. Right now, I am taking a temporary break off of the game and am planning to get back to it soon.

In able to be able to beat these levels you will have to be able to memorize the patterns of the incoming lines. It is very unlikely to complete a new level on the first try, or even the first five. Whenever you see a new pattern, you would ponder over how to get past it, and by the time you do that, your dead. It took me over fifty times to get used to the patterns and beat the level of Hexagon. It took even more tries to beat Hexagoner.

Overall, Super Hexagon is a game mean to waste your life, but it still is fun. I would recommend it as a great timekiller. Only one warning. If you don't like these games, don't play it for I fear for the condition of your smartphone or PC.
